Harborne Rugby Football Club

 

Founded in 1995, we are a family friendly club that has quickly established itself as one of the leading rugby clubs in the Birmingham area. Regularly fielding 3 teams on a Saturday, we cater for all standards and abilities, from the social beginner, to the more experienced player looking for competitive league rugby.

Located in Harborne itself, just a short distance from the city centre, we are easily accessible and draw on players and supporters from all parts of the city and beyond. Over the years this has included many players of different nationalities which make for a great mix both on and off the field.

The social side of Harborne Rugby is as important to our club as our playing achievements, and being situated in Harborne within walking distance of the famous “Harborne Run” of pubs means that we are never short of social events and a few cold ones after the final whistle!

Pre-season training for the 2010/2011 season starts on Tuesday July 20th at 18:45 at the Lloyds ground on the corner of Eastern Road (just off Bristol Road). We look forward to seeing a wide selection of new and returning players in preparation for the start of the new season. Regular season training is on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 18:45 at the Bournbrook pitches (Birmingham Uni) at which new comers are always more than welcome.
